KWC Architects is working with Preeminent Developments on a mixed-use apartment building in Old Ottawa South. The six-storey building will support multi-generational residential units alongside retail and office spaces.

KWC Architects in joint venture with Diamond Schmitt Architects is currently working on the design of a New Student Residence Building for the department of Housing and Residence Life Services at Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario.
The proposed New Student Residence building will provide dwelling accommodation for new first year students as well as various amenity spaces for all students on campus.
The building is being designed to promote and enhance a student-focused residential community experience, in an equitable and sustainably responsible living environment.
After working together on the Senate of Canada building, KWC and Diamond Schmitt Architects are teaming up to design the new home for the Ottawa Public Library and Library and Archives Canada (OPL-LAC).
Throughout 2019, the public was invited to make contributions and inspire the design in an ongoing program called Inspire555, a nod to the building’s future location at 555 Albert.
The design for the $192.9-million facility was unveiled in January 2020.
